The Northstar Phoenix emblem was created because we believe this moment in our country matters.
This is about America.
It is about unity.
It is about choosing humanity first.
Behind the Design
We wanted to create something that feels hopeful and strong without being aggressive or divisive. A symbol that reflects peace, resilience, and the belief that we can rise from what has been broken and build something better together.
The phoenix represents renewal and the courage to rise again. The North star above the mark represents guidance, conscience, and the responsibility we all share to look out for one another. A subtle touch of flame within the design reflects the quiet fire that keeps people showing up, even when it is hard.
While the emblem uses Minnesota’s colors and the North Star as an homage to where this work began, the message is much bigger than one place. This symbol is for everyone.
The Fine Print
The Northstar Phoenix emblem is NOT AI and was created through a collaboration between Wild Bear Consulting and Pamela J. Fronzeo Designs. It was intentionally designed to be shared as a symbol of unity and hope, and as a small contribution to the larger story of people choosing dignity, empathy, and community during a difficult moment in our history.
We want this to be a small piece of history, created on the right side of it.
