Published on 24 July 2023 at 15:32

Facebook has recently made some changes to settings that have made it difficult to find the unpublish and delete features for business pages. This can be frustrating for businesses that need to close down their pages or make them temporarily unavailable.

In this blog post, we will quickly walk you through the steps on how to delete a Facebook business page in 6 easy steps.

Step 1: Log in to your business page and click on Meta Business Suite

The first step is to log in to your business page and click on Meta Business Suite. This is the new name for the Facebook Pages Manager.

Step 2: Click on All Tools

Next, click on All Tools in the top left corner of the page.

Step 3: Click on Page Settings

From the All Tools menu, click on Page Settings.

Step 4: Click on Privacy

In the Page Settings menu, click on Privacy.

Step 5: Click on Facebook Page Information

On the Privacy page, click on Facebook Page Information

Step 6: Click on Deactivation and Deletion

Finally, click on Deactivation and Deletion

Choose Permanent or Temporary Deletion to Unpublish Your Business Page

On the Deactivation and Deletion page, you can choose to permanently delete your page or temporarily deactivate it. If you choose to permanently delete your page, it will be gone forever. If you choose to temporarily deactivate it, you can restore it within 30 days.

Here are some additional tips:

  • Make sure you are logged in as an admin of the page you want to delete.

  • If you are having trouble finding the Deactivation and Deletion button, you can also search for it in the Meta Business Suite settings.

  • Once you have deleted your page and the 30 days is up, you will not be able to recover it.
